The Home Run Derby took place tonight and unfortunately Magglio Ordonez did not share the same success as Pudge Rodriguez a couple years ago in Detroit. Despite a valiant effor Ordonez struggled to put together good swings and finished the derby with only two home runs. Most of the competitors struggled tonight but that wasn't enought to get Ordonez through to the second round.
I'm sure he'll have a better night tomorrow.
